There's a golf course for sale down the street.
Meriwether National is about 10 miles from Nike HQ and 30 minutes from my house. Love the name, by the way. Shout out Lewis. Shout out Clark. Shout out Sacagawea.
The numbers in May 2025:
- $2.1M in revenue last year, similar run rate this year, profitable
- 315 acres with more than two miles of river frontage
- An 18 and a nine-hole executive course
- 32,000 rounds played last year
- Listed at $6.5M
With only 32,000 rounds, I think golf revenue is a little more than half of that $2.1M.
The biggest upside here, besides removing the blue cabinets in the pro shop: there have been no events since COVID. Wake up, brothers. Rip out this carpet and we're in play. Summer weddings alone could make this business, and the golf is just a bonus.
I have zero clue what 300 acres in the Willamette Valley is worth, but $6.5M seems kinda reasonable to me.
