Lululemon golf clothes: Commission shorts, ABC pants and polos

By Colin LandforcePublished

Lululemon's Commission shorts were already part of my golf rotation before I saw the brand presenting them as golf clothes. The nine-inch version and Warpstreme fabric were the reasons I kept wearing them.

Commission shorts on the course

In this October 2023 review, the Commission short was my go-to. The length worked for me and I liked the material. That was enough. A garment does not need a golf-specific name for me to wear it on the course.

ABC pants and the polo

I also looked at a white nylon ABC pant and a polo listed at $98 at the time. My point about the polo was relative to golf apparel pricing: that price did not stand out as unusual in the category.

The embossed logo was another detail I liked. The branding was visible without becoming the main feature of the shirt. I was less interested in the hat shown in the collection.

What I look for in golf apparel

I care about the garment's fit, fabric and how it feels when I wear it. A brand's history in golf is a separate question. In this case, I was already wearing the shorts and liked them.

Golf collections we like, Lululemon.

If you're a golfer hating on Lulu, you've got underlying issues that need to be addressed.

In most contexts, Lululemon is expensive, but a $98 polo, it's fine.

The commissioned short has been my go-to since long before they ever called it a golf short.

I'm a nine-inch inseam guy myself.

The warp stream material is kind of perfect.

The nylon ABC golf is aggressively white.

This is the only piece I saw that's actually styled with golf shoes for what it's worth.

Please do not make things weird by wearing this hat.

Final notes, this color, the embossed logo, both excellent,

and Lululemon walks so that modern golf players could run.
