In defense of Jason Day's Pebble Beach sweatsuit

By Colin LandforcePublished

Jason Day wore a sweatsuit at Pebble Beach. This is simple. What is the brief here? What is your expectation?

Is it that a tour pro is intentional, well put together and comfortable enough to play great golf? Or is the requirement just that he looks like everybody else?

Golfers are fine with outfits that are totally ridiculous, as long as they're the right materials and the right tailoring.

This fit looks great. He's a legend. He's even got a collar here, for your low requirements. I've got to give it to him, too. Heather gray is a particularly bold variety of sweatsuit.

Intentional, well put together, looks great, played some great golf. What else do you need from this fool?
