Jason Day's Malbon Masters Outfits and the Bird Backlash

By Colin LandforcePublished

Jason Day's Masters scripting just dropped and I'm completely bamboozled. Not by the clothes. By the anti-Malboners.

Golfers love to see an insurance conglomerate or a consultant or a private equity fund, but they draw the line at birds. These guys love them some KPMG, maybe a little Mutual of Omaha, but a black-capped chickadee is too damn much. An American kestrel is a disgrace to the game.

All jokes aside, these fits are textbook golf attire.

  • Wednesday: a fishing vest. A little bit of a curveball. I like it.
  • Thursday: a hooded jacket. A little on the edge, but potentially relevant if rain comes into play.
  • Sunday: a blazer. It does not get more formal country club golfer than a blazer.

The rest of it is khakis and quarter zips.

If this is your boy getting mad about this, it's time for a welfare check. Go in there and make sure he's doing okay.

Look, Jason Day's better scripting just dropped and I'm completely bamboozled. Golfers love to see an insurance conglomerate or consultant or a private equity tier, but they draw the line at birds. These guys love them some KPMG, maybe a little mutual of Omaha, but a black cap chickadee is too damn much. An American best is a disgrace to the game. Good, all jokes aside, these fits are textbook golf attire. Wednesday, you got this fishing best, which is a little bit of curveball. I like it. I I I love one rank. And then Midly Thursday's hood jacket is a little on the edge, albeit potentially relevant if if rain comes into play. The rest of this stuff is khakis rank quarter zips and best brothers. My man is wearing a blazer on Sunday. It does not get more cheesec formal country club golfer than a blazer. So anyway, my point is if if this is your boy getting mad about this, it's time for a welfare check. Go go in there and make sure he's doing okay.
