Launching a Product in the Face Painting Niche

Shelbi from Squishy Doodle could be making $35 to $40 a sale if she launched her own product into the face painting niche.

For a niche like this, I always start with the tools and supplies. In face painting, that means the paints and the brushes.

Don't compete on price. You can find this stuff super cheap on Amazon, and there's no reason a creator ever needs to fight those prices. I'm thinking a signature series. The Squishy Doodle Signature Series, you feel me?

A single brush is a low-ticket item, which doesn't work for us. So it's a starter kit. Several brushes in a case with a palette or two of paint. Somebody picks it up and they can get started face painting.

Then the sourcing. Shelbi has probably tried every paint and every brush in the game. She just needs to do that again with factories.

Napkin math: I think she could source a kit for under $20 to $25 and sell it in the $60 range all day. Probably much cheaper, but I'm keeping it conservative to keep the haters at bay.
