That's actually a restaurant called The Keep. In medieval architecture, the keep is the main tower of the castle.
In May 2026 it was listed at $6.9 million. 65 acres in Missoula, Montana. A nine-hole course with 18 tee boxes. A nice restaurant. And more importantly, an elusive Montanese all-beverage liquor license. I don't think Montanese is actually a word. I just made that up.
Reviews are a little conflicting. Leslie sauntered the periphery and only gave it three stars.
I did some boy math, and I think this is basically a real estate play that includes a couple businesses. Many such cases.
If I bought this place, I'd put my energy into the wedding venue business. The liquor license is an asset, and with built-in food we can sell $10,000, $20,000, $30,000 wedding packages. Not as fun, but a lot better than $25 tee times. Those are just a bonus that comes with the castle.
Are we buying? I'm about to fill out an NDA and get the P&L. Let's go.
